Red stoneware, ~5″d, 2.5″h. Layered glazes, paper resist, cone 10 reduction

There are actually six of them in this set. And here is the big momma:

Red stoneware, ~8.5d, 4.5″h. Layered glazes, paper resist, cone 10 reduction.

Originally it was supposed to be a pasta serving set… but also works well for salad.

A very skilfully made set of pots. I’m intrigued by red stoneware – new to me, in the UK.

Hi, Pete. Thanks for your kind comment. The clay is from Standard:
259 STONEWARE CLAY (Cone 6-10) Formulated to be similar to 153, but with richer color tones.
Shrinkage: 12.25% at C/6, 13% at C/10.
Absorption: 4% at C/6, .85% at C/10.
